From my early childhood as far back as I can remember, I always had a strong spiritual upbringing. When I started studying music in my early teens it enhanced a deep connection to the divine. It was through music my first introduction to meditation began to take shape. When I would play music, I was completely present, completely lost in the moment. From music came meditation, and from meditation came the desire to study yoga. My first introduction was found in a small book that had various postures that I would practice daily. It wasn't until a few years later when I took my first "real" yoga class. After that first class, I had never felt anything like that before. I went back everyday that week, and by the third class I knew my calling was to teach. I signed up for the very next teacher training program, moved to Los Angeles, and immersed myself in a vigorous nine week schedule that tested every fiber of my being. Upon graduating top of my class I made sure to teach my first class the very next day. I have been truly blessed to be able to share the gift of yoga to the world. I am happy to call San Diego my home where my wife, Lorraine and I are raising our two beautiful children Azlan and Anaya. I have a regular schedule teaching all throughout San Diego. My amazing journey with yoga has led me all over the world teaching workshops, retreats, and teacher training programs. Yoga has truly changed my life for the best, and my goal is to serve you in which ever way I can. A Life of Balance

For over 15 years, Jorge worked in the Beauty Industry to empower men and women to look and feel their absolute best. However, Jorge soon realized he could give his clients so much more. As an avid gymnast, marathoner and Crossfit athlete himself, Jorge was never more fulfilled than when on the mat. It was this revelation that he had to share with others. He believes yoga provides individuals with countless benefits to the mind, body and soul. It is through this journey, that only yoga can offer, that one is able to discover their true inter beauty and then share this beauty with the world around them. Before becoming a yoga and fitness teacher, Linda Cuevas worked as a Case Manager at an Adult Day Program for adults with developmental disabilities. In 2007, Linda first discovered Bikram yoga and enjoyed what yoga could do for her flexibility; yoga began to fulfill her more than her Muay Thai / Boxing practice. She realized that her body, mind and soul only craved one thing, Yoga; that is when she decided to shift her focus into deepening her yoga practice. Linda felt and saw the difference it was making on and off her mat, her practice shifted from physical into something deeper. Summer 2012, Linda took her practice to the next level for self-growth and improvement. She enrolled in Hot Power Fusion 200 hr. Teacher Training and Extensions Program. In January 2014, Linda took her teaching to the next level, she moved on from her full time job, enrolled in college courses for "Fitness Specialist Program", and completed a second Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training and Extensions Program program in July 2014. In between Teacher Trainings, she has also taken a Yogi Training for self-growth and deepening her personal practice, as well as day and intensive trainings that have come along in her journey. Linda began to teach in July 2014. Currently, Linda teaches an array of classes: Vinyasa flow, Hot Yoga, Sculpt, TRX Bootcamp, Barre, Kids Yoga and Kids Yoga Teacher Training. Attending one of her classes will leave you motivated, energized, accomplished and successful. Linda is very motivating and encouraging to every single student in her class. She will make you feel welcomed wether it is your first class or you are a seasoned yogi. Her passion for yoga and teaching truly shows in her teaching, speaking from the heart, going deeper than just the asana (poses), but rather to help begin to peel the layers to go deeper and connect the body, mind, and soul. "I am now able to share and give to my students the same love, support and passion that has been given to me through out my personal practice. This is a long life journey and I am truly blessed and honored to continue to grow along with my students, friends, family and most importantly, my hubby”.

Marlene is a 200 hr Yoga Teacher, Yin teacher and Reiki energy Healer. As a teacher, she encourages her students to explore different movements within their bodies and find what becomes unique to them, to create their own "style" and creative expressions in order to build a stronger relationship between mind, body, soul and breath. From a young age she felt drawn to metaphysical topics and building her own spiritual path. She enjoys spending time outdoors connecting to nature, exploring sites rich in history and learning to unfold her potential in the energy realm. She is the modern-day 'Yogi witch" and I always curious to dig deeper into what life has to offer. She appreciates a good laugh, standing by "laughter is medicine"and tries not to take life too seriously. Come see her in class!

Saira began her yoga practice at the Chula Vista Yoga Center in 2011 and obtained her Yoga Teacher Training certificate that summer. In search of a new perspective in life and self-love, she challenged herself to 30 days of yoga. She acknowledged that the shift of energy, mind, body, soul and the feeling of fulfillment that she felt after every class saved her life. Inspired by her teachers and the space her practice evolved in, yoga became something she wanted to keep in her life for ever. She hopes to inspire students and peers to find a practice that works for them and fills them with happiness. She is also an advocate for other healthy lifestyles such as sports, dance, cross fit and supporter of the arts.

All her life, she has been in love with fitness and exercise. She currently teaches barralates and TRX HIIT. She loves exploring different fitness formats and taking classes with different instructors so she can learn from them and see how she can improve her own practice and teaching.
